Dylan is the architect behind Potions & Familiars' technical and strategic work. With over a decade of experience in project management, he has spent years leading complex initiatives, coordinating teams, and delivering results in environments where the details matter. That background shapes everything he is about, organized, deadline-driven, and always thinking three steps ahead.​He holds a degree in Business and Accounting, giving him a foundation that goes beyond just building things. He understands how businesses actually work, where the money flows, and what makes an operation sustainable. That means the solutions he builds aren't just technically sound; they're built with your bottom line in mind.​
Today, Dylan specializes in AI-powered tools, custom web applications, workflow automations, and digital solutions that help businesses save time, reduce manual work, and create better experiences for their customers.
Dylan is also a certified AI Operator, staying current with the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence so his clients don't have to. When you work with Dylan, you're not just getting someone who can build, you're getting someone who understands the strategy behind it.​

Jennifer Harper— Co-Owner | Creative Director & Marketing Strategist​
Jennifer is the creative force and operational backbone of Potions & Familiars. With over 10 years of experience in marketing, she can help businesses of all sizes build their brand and create materials that actually get results. She understands that good marketing isn't just about looking pretty, it's about communicating the right message to the right people at the right time.​
Her creative work spans both the digital and the physical. On the design side, she produces business cards, postcards, flyers, social media graphics, marketing materials, and full brand packages that are polished, professional, and built to represent your business at its best. On the art side, Jennifer is also an organic artist, meaning not everything she creates comes from a computer. Some of her work is genuinely hand-crafted. In a world full of AI-generated everything, there's something meaningful about work that was made by human hands.

She also serves as the operational heart of Potions & Familiars, managing the business and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. If Dylan is building the engine, Jennifer is making sure the whole car actually gets where it's going.​

Our Story​
Potions & Familiars started the way most good things do, with a conversation between two people who saw a gap and decided to fill it.
​Between Dylan's decade-plus in project management and business strategy and Jennifer's ten years plus in marketing and design, we had the skills. Between Dylan's technical background and Jennifer's creative instincts, we had the balance. And between the two of us, we had the drive to build something that was genuinely ours. Something that reflected who we are and how we believe business should be done.
We chose the name Potions & Familiars because it felt right. We're a little witchy, a little whimsical, and we take our craft seriously. A potion is something carefully made, the right ingredients, in the right order, with the right intention. A familiar is a trusted companion who works alongside you. That's what we want to be for every client: the people who craft the right solution and stick around to see it through.We're based in St. Joseph, Missouri, and we're proud of it. We're not a remote agency with no connection to the community, we live here, we shop here, we root for this city. The businesses we work with aren't just clients; they're neighbors.
