Normal Rates = $150 Total For First Two Hours + $40/ Hour After That
$150 covers the first 2 hours of work. After that, time is $40 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments ($10 per 15 minutes). You only pay for the time used.
Example Breakdown (5.5 Hours of Work)
If a job takes 5 hours and 30 minutes, here’s how it’s calculated:
-
First 2 hours: $150 (flat base price)
-
Next 3 hours: $40 × 3 = $120
-
Final 30 minutes: Two 15-minute increments → $10 + $10 = $20
Total:
$150 + $120 + $20 = $290.00

Complex Jobs = Normal Rate Total + Service Fee By Job Type
How complex job add-ons work
Example 1: A Complex Job That Takes 5 Hours and 30 minutes (swap 2 light fixtures and installing a dishwasher)
Base total is $290.00 (5 hours and 30 minutes)
Fee based on job is + $100 for two light fixtures and $175 for dishwasher install. =$275
$290.00 + $275.00 = $565.00
Example 2: Complex job that takes 16 hours (two business days) (laying vinyl plank flooring to a 300 sq ft kitchen and two standard jobs, installing towel bars and hanging magnetic knife strips.)
$150 base for 1st two hours + $40x14 (the remainder of the 16 hours) = $560.00 for 16 hours of labor
Vinyl plank flooring @ 300sqft is $400.00. The other two standard jobs do not have an additional fee because they are not under complex job category.
So for this job: $560.00+$400.00 = $960.00 to lay all of the flooring and install hardware.

Remember that materials are separate. Customers have the option of providing their own materials (example: the flooring, dishwasher and hardware) or we can purchase the materials for you with a deposit. Taxes are not included and materials may cost a different amount at time of purchase depending on sales or anything else that is not in our control. We will provide the receipt at the end of the job and anything over will be added to the invoice. If it ends up costing less, we will take the amount overpaid off of the invoice.
